Definition
Offer is present or proffer (something) for (someone) to accept or reject as so desired

Purpose
Offer aims to give someone an inviting favor to do something

Expression of Offer

The common phrases used to make offers
May /Can I ...
Would you like ...
Is there anything I can do for you?
Can I give you a hand?
Give me a shout if you need anything.

Accepting offers
Thanks for the offer.
Thank you.
Yes, please.
If you don’t mind.
That’s very kind of you thanks.

Refusing Offers
No, thanks.
No. thank you.
No. please don’t bother.
It’s all right, thank you.
I can manage. Thank you all the same.

The example dialogue of the offer I made

Nyimas: Fia, have you seen my English book? I think I lost it.
Fia: I don't think so. Try to remember where you last put it. Can I help you find it?
Nyimas: Yes, of course. I have looked in my bag and in my desk drawer, it's not there either.
Fia: Already looking in your tote bag?
Nyimas: Ah right, it's in the tote bag. Thank you for your help.
